What ever your computer service needs are, I'm ready to take care of them. Unlike the impersonal big box stores, I'm a one-man operation, home grown right here on Cape Cod. Think of me as your personal IT department and trusted technician.
I offer pick-up service and delivery. And if I can correct your issue right then and there in your home, I will! All of your questions will be answered in courteous, plain English. No issue is too big (like designing a wireless network with multiple computers) or too small (like printing beautiful digital photos).
Computers are fun ... except when they aren't. Let me worry about the headache, while you just enjoy your computer.
For home
I began taking electronics apart when I was just a child, and received my first computer in 1981. Shortly thereafter I was using the earliest version of the internet and building computers in my spare time.
I spent the last six years as the IT Director for a national company with a program in Chatham, where I built machines, setup file servers and more. However, I never forgot the fun of using a computer at home. It’s this combination of expertise and passion that I’m offering you.
Free one-hour consultation
I offer free in-home consultation, up to one hour. During that time, we’ll get to know each other while you explain your concern. I’ll make an assessment and decide if I can fix the issue then and there, or if I need to take your machine to my workshop.
I offer all of the following services. My rate is $60/hr. with a $35 diagnostic fee (the diagnostic fee is required as work begins and will be applied to the first hour of labor).
Pickup and delivery (free!)
Gas prices are high and your time is even more precious. I’ll drive to your location and, if need be, transport your computer safe and sound to my workshop and back again; No matter if you live in Borne or P-Town. And all of this is “off the clock!”
New System Package - $ 150
This package gives you three hours of my time, which represents a discount from my regular rate of $60/hr. This package can include
- Unboxing, initial setup and registration of all new hardware
- Installation, registration and configuration of all new software
- Setup and configuration of devices like printers, Mp3 players, scanners, cameras, etc.
- Transfer of files from your old computer to the new one
- Getting your new computer on the internet or a home network

Individual and Personalized Training Sessions - $450

With The Individual and Personalized Training Sessions I’ll create a custom series of in-home classes for you. We’ll meet once every two weeks for a period of three months, one hour per meeting. I’ll even provide you with personal “cheat sheets” to refer to when I’m gone! At $450, it’s a discount from my regular rate.

The Geek Master Package combines New System Package and three months of Individual Training. I’ll do everything to get your new computer up and running plus provide three months of personalized instruction. This package saves you over $100 compared to the New System and Training packages separately; it’s a great value for those who are starting out.
